If you have paid right-of-way fees to the METRO Authority for 2012 you may be entitled to a METRO tax credit. Under Public Act 50 of 2002, section 13b (5), tax credits are afforded to telecommunication providers that invest in new broadband infrastructure. The Michigan Public Service Commission must certify documentation that providers have paid the right-of-way fees to the METRO Authority per Section 8(14) of Public Act 48.

Please be advised that the METRO Tax Credit applications are due Thursday, May 23rd, 2013.
